Buena Vida Tapas & Sol is a new restaurant by Adam Berlin & Juan Calle opening in late 2019. Located on the Beltline in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward, it will serve approachable, fun Spanish tapas in a trendy, bohemian-chic space and patio.

The design is influenced by the contemporary bohemian-chic enclaves of Ibiza, the South of Spain and the Mediterranean coast. Designer Meredith Petty has taken the owners’ inspiration to create a one-of-a-kind space, furnished with custom and handmade items imported from Europe and Turkey by Lotus Design LLC. E + E Architecture is working with the team to finalize the design. Expect a light and airy space filled with lush plants, vibrant bohemian colors, and contemporary art. The central bar will open both to the restaurant and to the patio, making a fun space for casual dinners and Beltline-side drinks alike.

the vision

Owners Berlin and Calle were inspired by their travels to southern Spain to create their fifth hospitality concept featuring a unique menu with casual, affordable, and high quality items. Chef Juan Hormiga will be relocating from Spain to helm the kitchen after having led several acclaimed kitchens in Madrid, Ibiza, and elsewhere.
